Job Overview Andrew General Contractors Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects with precision and integrity. Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage all on-site construction activities and teams- Coordinate subcontractor schedules and ensure contract compliance- Oversee project safety, enforcing OSHA standards and internal policies- Maintain detailed daily logs and project documentation- Review project plans, specifications, and subcontracts for potential issues- Collaborate with the Project Manager on schedule, logistics, and quality control- Ensure the successful close-out of each project, including punch list execution- Act as the point of contact for inspections and client communications- Respond promptly to job-related communication
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction (tenant improvements, medical offices, Class A office buildings, financial institutions, tilt-wall)- Strong understanding of construction documents and cost analysis- OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 and AHCA experience preferred)- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines- Ability to pass the Jessica Lunsford Act background check- High level of proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings
