Our client is seeking a Commercial Superintendent with 10+ years of experience to join our team. This role requires a proactive and driven individual who can manage all aspects of construction, from plan reviews to scheduling, while ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to timelines. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee commercial construction projects, primarily in private and municipal sectors. Interpret and review plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality execution. Push and develop construction schedules, holding teams accountable to deadlines. Assist in schedule development and actively work on job sites with a hands-on approach. Lead subcontractor management. Ensure compliance with OSHA 30 standards (certification preferred, but training offered). Attend and lead project meetings, ensuring alignment between all project stakeholders. Manage on-site operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality control. Requirements: Experience: 10+ years in commercial construction (private and municipal projects). Technical Skills: Proficient in Procore, CMIC, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Office 365), Microsoft Project (scheduling), and familiar with Primavera (preferred). Certifications: OSHA 30 (required or willing to obtain). Strong ability to read and understand plans/specs independently.
