Commercial Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day on-site operations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing field activities, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities and subcontractors
Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment at all times
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
Conduct daily site inspections and progress meetings
Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions with project managers and stakeholders
Manage materials, equipment, and site logistics
Resolve on-site issues and conflicts as they arise
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety practices
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience managing subcontractors and field personnel
Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office
OSHA certification
Valid driver’s license
