Our Client is actively seeking to add an experienced Traveling Field Superintendent to their East Texas team. This role will have a high level of independence and work as the primary interface on projects throughout the East Texas region. Experience with ground-up work is a must. Experience must be in the traditional commercial industry, and unable to consider multi-family or residential experience. Travel (within a 3-hour drive of East Texas) will be required-

Will be onsite for the duration of the project length then transition to next project site. Client will cover cost of monthly housing (if out of area) or provide a stipend for housing costs.
Key Responsibilities ·  Project Management : Oversee all phases of construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines. ·  Quality Control : Perform regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations. ·  Budget Oversight : Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently. ·  Team Leadership : Supervise construction workers and subcontractors, providing direction and support to ensure effective teamwork and communication. ·  Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with OSHA guidelines and local building codes. ·  Problem Solving : Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. ·  Reporting : Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, budget status, and any challenges encountered to management and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications ·  Experience : Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
Education : A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
·  Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety standards. ·  Leadership Skills : Excellent leadership and organizational abilities to manage diverse teams and ensure project success. ·  Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members. ·  Problem-Solving : Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently as they arise on the job site.
