Job Details
We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of commercial litigation experience.
Responsibilities:
* Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations * Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs * Manage discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions * Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes * Advise clients on legal and business risks and opportunities * Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to provide the best possible legal representation to clients * Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients throughout the litigation process
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctorate degree from acclaimed law school * Admission to Minnesota bar * 2-6 years of litigation experience (business/commercial or employment law) * Trial, arbitration, and appellate work * Interest in high profile litigation is preferred
