$19.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Role Overview
The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of an affordable housing community, including financial, marketing, leasing, customer service, compliance, and staff management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Financial/Administrative Operations: Manage resident communications regarding rent and delinquencies, process payments, maintain records, handle move-out procedures, and order supplies.
Marketing/Leasing/Move-In: Develop and implement marketing plans, show apartments, process applications, and conduct resident orientations.
Resident Retention: Enforce lease agreements, maintain a welcoming environment, process lease renewals, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
Physical Operations: Monitor property conditions, prepare for inspections, and report maintenance issues.
Compliance: Follow all regulations from HUD, DHCR, HFA, USDA, and other agencies, maintain accurate records, and submit required reports.
Physical and Mental Demands: Must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, manage a flexible schedule, and perform physical tasks such as walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
Qualifications: High School Diploma (Real Estate education preferred), experience with Microsoft Office, valid driver’s license, and strong command of English language.
