Construction Administration Specialist

My client based out of Washington DC is seeking a construction administration specialist to support their federal client. This position will work remotely but be required to travel 2-5 times a month for 1-2 days at a time to different project sites in the Great Lakes region. Their day to day responsibilities will include oversight on capital improvement projects to different social security office buildings throughout the Great Lakes region. This will include comprehensive review of contract documents, reviewing cost proposals and change orders, attending pre-design and construction meetings, and establishing a schedule and performing periodic site visits to check on project status.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years total professional experience
• Leading to oversight of small to medium scale construction projects of different complexities for federal clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and Bluebeam
• Bachelors degree in engineering or construction management
