The Construction Administrator serves as the primary point of contact between the Firm, Owner, and Contractor throughout the construction phase. This role manages all aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through substantial completion and closeout. Responsibilities include attending construction meetings, reviewing field conditions, preparing Architects and Engineers Field Reports, managing ASIs, RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, pay applications, and resolving on-site issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties: Serve as the liaison between the Firm, Owner, and Contractor throughout the construction phase. Attend and coordinate site meetings, documenting all construction activities and project progress. Prepare and issue construction documents, including ASIs, RFIs, and Field Reports. Review and interpret complex contract documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings. Evaluate and process contractors applications for payment and recommend adjustments as necessary. Maintain and coordinate project schedules, ensuring timelines are met. Oversee project quality control and ensure compliance with building codes, safety requirements, and construction regulations. Monitor change orders and assist in evaluating contract documents and design changes. Supervise team members, including Project Managers and Engineers, to ensure timely responses to job site questions and owner communications. Coordinate with design engineers, manage submittal logs, and maintain thorough project documentation. Evaluate punch lists and manage project closeout procedures. Ensure the efficient processing of RFIs and support all administrative procedures at the construction site. Stay informed on architectural and engineering updates and support business development efforts. Qualifications: 5+ years as a Construction Administrator for a structural design firm Certified and Licensed Special Inspector with Threshold Inspections in Florida is a plus. Experience with multi-family, healthcare, ALF/ILF, and senior living projects. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction processes, and contract documents. Experience in plan review for constructability. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills; team-oriented and detail-focused. Ability to travel by vehicle and plane to job sites as required.
