Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator with a background in MEP systems to join the construction administration team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction field experience and be skilled at reviewing MEP submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site observations to ensure compliance with contract drawings.
Responsibilities
- Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Respond to RFIs from contractors in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct periodic site observations to verify installation conforms to contract drawings.
- Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to review construction drawings (no design work required).
- Maintain clear and organized project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Collaborate with internal project teams to resolve construction issues.
- Travel to job sites as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Administrator, preferably with an engineering or MEP firm.
- Background in construction field operations or advanced MEP design experience.
- Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
