Job Title: Construction Administrator
Location: Greater Atlanta Area
Type: Direct Hire
We are actively seeking a Construction Administrator to join a well-established, full-service architecture and engineering design firm specializing in educational, athletic, and commercial projects. This role is based in metro Atlanta area.
About the Role:
As a Construction Administrator, you will be the key liaison between project stakeholders-tracking progress, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between contractors, clients, and the internal design team. If you have a strong foundation in commercial construction, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset, this could be your next great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly site visits to track construction progress
- Prepare field reports summarizing observations and updates
- Attend OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and internal staff
- Review/respond to RFIs and shop drawings
- Approve pay requests and process change orders
- Assist in resolving construction-related issues in the field
- Perform punch list observations and issue letters of substantial completion
- Collect close-out documentation and assist with warranty follow-ups
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction inspection or management
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Solid understanding of engineering systems, building processes, and project documentation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and customer service-driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
