About the Role
As a Construction Assistant for Commercial Remodeling, you’ll work independently and collaboratively on special projects across our apartment communities and commercial properties. Based out of Newport News, VA, this position involves travel to properties within a 2-hour radius, with occasional travel to other regional hubs including Raleigh, Charlotte, Charleston, and other Southeast markets.
Your responsibilities will include estimating project timelines, managing your schedule, and executing hands-on renovation work with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll coordinate with onsite maintenance and leasing teams to deliver high-impact results.

✔️ Project Estimating & Time Management
✔️ Knowledge of Job Site Safety Procedures and Proper Tool Use
