Construction Billing Specialist (AIA Billing Experience)

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our construction projects by managing the preparation, review, and submission of AIA billing documents, such as G702 and G703 forms. Your expertise in the construction industry and strong attention to detail will ensure that all billing is accurate, timely, and compliant with contract specifications. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and submit AIA pay applications (G702/G703) in accordance with contract requirements and project schedules. Verify and track approved change orders, retainage, and percentage of completion for all projects. Reconcile project costs and billing with project managers and accounting teams to ensure accuracy. Address and resolve discrepancies or questions related to billings with internal stakeholders and clients. Maintain organized and detailed records of all billing activity, pay applications, and supporting documentation. Assist with compliance requirements, including documentation needed for lien releases and waivers. Provide exceptional customer service to address client inquiries regarding AIA billings and payment status. Collaborate with construction project managers and finance teams to streamline billing processes and meet deadlines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting, finance, or construction management preferred. Proven experience as a Billing Specialist within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of AIA billing processes. Proficiency with AIA documents (G702/G703) and construction billing software. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with project teams. Familiarity with construction contracts, lien waivers, and compliance documentation. Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
