Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new construction projects needing HVAC services.
- Build a strong pipeline through networking, cold calls, trade shows, and digital marketing strategies.
- Maintain and grow relationships with general contractors, architects, developers, and engineers.
- Provide client support during pre-construction, bidding, and project development phases.
- Collaborate with estimating teams to prepare competitive and profitable bids.
- Participate in RPF/RFQ submissions and contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming commercial/residential construction projects.
- Offer strategic insights to management for positioning the company.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity, forecasts, and customer feedback.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure client expectations align with execution capabilities.
- Assist in project handoff and maintain client communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5-10 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction sales/business development.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction project timelines, bidding processes, and regulatory codes.
- Excellent verbal and written skills; able to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, construction management, or related field preferred.
Salary Range:
- $100,000 - $125,000 plus commission
