Construction Carpenter (5+ Years Experience REQUIRED)

*Guaranteed 40 Hours per week -Year-Round Work - No Seasonal Layoffs

We are currently seeking reliable, detail-oriented professional carpenters to join our growing team. Carpenter Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License & an acceptable driving record
  
• A MINIMUM of 5 years of residential finish carpentry & remodeling experience is REQUIRED
• Must be well-versed in multi-trade construction (flooring, drywall, cabinets, painting, trim work, light plumbing & electrical, etc)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
  
• Must live within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH
  
• Must pass a drug screen and a national and local criminal background check (No Felonies or Major Misdemeanors)
• A strong working knowledge of carpentry principles & construction processesfrom foundation to finish.
  
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
• Willing to participate in the On-Call Schedule to respond to after-hours & weekend emergency calls
  
• Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills

Carpenter Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Perform a multitude of carpentry tasks while following the scope of work and adhering to project timelines
• Identify and address project-related issues, finding effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
• Perform multiple carpentry tasks: drywall (hanging & finishing), interior trim, tile, cabinetry/countertop installation, siding, window & door installation, framing, flooring, painting, light plumbing & electrical, etc.
  
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status and expectations.
• Communicate any project issues/changes to the project manager
  
• Produce quality work that consistently meets the company's standards and expectations
  
• Adhere to the rotation ON-CALL schedule responsibilities
• Respond to emergency service calls after-hours & weekends (board-ups, tarping, property stabilization)
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules.
