WHY YOU WANT THIS OPPORTUNITY You’ll be estimating high-profile multi-family and commercial concrete superstructure and foundation projects, including towers reaching 70 stories, right here in South Florida. This is your opportunity to join the Southeast division of a well-established concrete construction firm with a strong reputation up and down the East Coast. You’ll work in a high-performance environment where your experience and accuracy will directly impact the success of landmark developments. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? Concrete estimating experience, preferably for cast-in-place structures, post-tension and precast and tunnel form a plus Expertise in foundation and superstructure scope for commercial and multi-family projects Ability to analyze drawings and specs, perform accurate take-offs, and build complete estimates Familiarity with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or equivalent Strong communication skills for working with internal operations and external clients Ability to manage subcontractor relationships, bid comparisons, and cost history databases YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete scopes, including formwork, rebar, and place & finish Attending pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed Coordinating with project managers, field teams, and executive leadership to review estimate strategy Identifying and mitigating risk factors in budget development Participating in subcontractor solicitation and bid review Assisting in project handoff and turnover to project management team ABOUT THE COMPANY This role is with the South Florida division of a long-standing concrete contractor with deep roots on the East Coast.
