*Job Title:* Construction Coordinator *Location:* Midstates Recreation, Pataskala, Ohio *Job Type:* Full-time, on site (in person at Pataskala Facility)

*Job Summary:*

Midstates Recreation designs, and builds commercial playground structures for parks and recreation, schools, daycares, churches, municipalities, HOAs, developer groups, and more. We are looking to add a Construction Coordinator to join our existing team of two coordinators. This role would coordinate construction projects for our sales team throughout the state of Michigan.

The *Construction Coordinator* is responsible for organizing, scheduling, and overseeing playground construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, with utmost efficiency, and meet all safety and quality standards. The coordinator serves as the liaison between project managers, site crews, suppliers, our sales team, and our clients.

*Key Responsibilities:* * Plan and schedule playground construction projects, ensuring timely execution and an emphasis on accuracy of details. * Coordinate with project managers, construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors, and sales reps to maintain workflow efficiency and accuracy. * Ensure all necessary documents, plans, drawings, approvals, and scopes of work are in place before project commencement. * Communicate daily/as needed with on-site crews to monitor progress and address challenges. * Order and track delivery of playground equipment, surfacing materials, and other construction supplies. * Address issues such as equipment defects, site hazards, and installation problems. Work with sales rep and install crew to resolve promptly. * Maintain compliance with ADA accessibility, ASTM, CPSC, and other industry standards.

*Budgeting & Reporting:* * Maintain records of material costs, labor hours, and change orders. * Prepare progress reports and updates for management and clients.

*Customer & Vendor Relations:* * Serve as the primary point of contact for construction crew and installers regarding project updates and concerns. * Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. * Address and resolve any on-site issues to maintain client satisfaction. Ensure expectations are established between all parties (customer/client, installer, sales person, manufacturers)

*Qualifications & Skills:* * *Experience:* Minimum *2 years* in construction coordination, project management, or a related field. Ideal candidate would have a general understanding of project sequencing and timelines and experience coordinating within these expectations. * *Technical Skills:* Ability to read product installation instructions, site plans, product specs, and construction drawings. * *Communication:* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to coordinate between multiple teams effectively.
