Construction Coordinator/Analytical Testing Technician - Semiconductor, Malta, NY

We are currently seeking two Construction Coordinator/Analytical Testing Technicians to join our growing team in Malta, New York. This hybrid role requires proficiency in both construction coordination and analytical testing. Candidates must be self-motivated, technically skilled, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced, high-tech construction environments.
Local candidates are strongly preferred due to the onsite nature of this project.
Key Responsibilities: Construction Coordination
- Support the construction management team in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project work from inception through close-out.
- Interface with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and local government agencies to ensure project goals are met.
- Track scope, schedule, and budget performance using tools like Excel and Microsoft Project.
- Generate project reports, status updates, and dashboard summaries.
- Assist with coordinating field work, supporting safety standards, and promoting construction productivity.
- Help manage site documentation and communications across project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Analytical Testing
- Perform high-purity process piping and system testing for contamination, leaks, and impurities.
- Conduct Helium Leak Detection, Particle Analysis, TOC (Total Organic Carbon), Moisture and Oxygen Testing, and Resistivity Testing on gas and water systems.
- Troubleshoot technical and quality issues in cleanroom or controlled environments.
- Operate and maintain analytical equipment such as mass spectrometers and other contamination detection instruments.
- Support third-party quality assurance processes and participate in pre-planning activities.
- Adhere strictly to safety and contamination control protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; AA or equivalent experience in Construction Management or a related technical field strongly preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in construction coordination and/or analytical testing, with willingness to develop proficiency in both disciplines.
- Strong understanding of UHP (Ultra High Purity) systems, UPW (Ultra Pure Water), and semiconductor facility operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general project tracking tools.
- Hands-on ability to troubleshoot equipment and process systems.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, safe handling of chemical systems, and power/hand tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
- Able to work from ladders and elevated platforms; must pass background check and drug screening.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, industrial, or high-tech construction environments.
- Prior Helium Leak Detection and contamination testing experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality and safety standards.
