This is reflective in our competitive offerings to our hires including: Ongoing HR support Competitive benefits packages including health, dental, vision, and life insurance Our very own JLM rewards incentive program The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in construction and/or transportation They thrive in a fast-paced and a team-oriented environment They get excited about construction projects as well as completing assignments on time An individual who will do well in this position is self-oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable Comfortable working within a team environment at the project site Key Responsibilities/Skills Train team members on how to improve their estimating skills Coordinate with project manager for the development of preconstruction schedule Responsible for consults to lead estimator on the development and accuracy of project cost estimate Assist with quantity takeoffs and market research to estimating team Participate in risk mitigation meetings Participate in innovation vetting and implementation Work collaborate with lead scheduler to optimize the construction schedule Participate in cost negotiations and alignment with the contractor Participate in cost reconciliation meetings and follow up with estimate revisions Provide constructability reviews Follow and help/implement quality control plan Bid review and award recommendation Participate in frequent project team coordination meetings Assist with proposal strategy Other duties as assigned Perks Of Joining Jlm We offer a competitive compensation package as well as benefits including health insurance, vision, dental, life, and paid time off!
