EMC Mechanical Services is searching for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team! The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to various job sites, fabrication shops, and company facilities. This role plays a crucial part in supporting project schedules and field operations by ensuring materials are delivered in good condition and according to delivery schedules.

What You'll Do:

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites, vendors, and other company locations.
Load and unload trucks with materials and equipment; verify delivery contents and condition.
Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and returns.
Maintain communication with Logistics Coordinator or Dispatcher regarding delivery status.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Assist with organizing and staging deliveries in the warehouse when needed.
Follow all DOT, company, and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2+ years of delivery or driving experience, preferably in construction or logistics.
Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with basic delivery documentation and mobile delivery tracking tools.
Driving Requirements
- Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Must have positive points on state driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
- Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
- All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
