Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Design / Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our lead designers in all phases of the design process, from initial client consultations to the final implementation of design plans. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, interior design, and remodeling who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, respond to inquiries, and qualify leads.
  • Conduct initial client consultations to gather information on project scope, preferences, and budget.
  • Manage and nurture client relationships through the sales pipeline to ensure a seamless handoff to production.
• Design Collaboration:
  • Create design concepts, space plans, and presentations for client approval.
  • Source materials and fixtures, ensuring selections meet design specifications and budget constraints. Work closely with the Project Manager and Estimator.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar).
  • Collaborate with the client's interior designer to integrate their concepts into the solution.
• Administration & Coordination
  • Develop the scope of work, proposals, and contract documents
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure the timely delivery and installation of materials.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and client communications.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in interior design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
