Job Summary: The Operational Leader for the SERVPRO Construction Team is responsible for managing daily reconstruction operations across eight locations in CO, NM, NV, CA, OR and WA overseeing a team of Reconstruction Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Field Superintendents. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Operational Leader will also drive process improvements, manage customer escalations, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and insurance carrier representatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management: Oversee the daily reconstruction operations across all eight locations, ensuring compliance with SERVPRO production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards. Team Leadership: Directly manage Reconstruction Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Field Superintendents, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure team effectiveness and professional growth. Project Oversight: Monitor project financials, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure projects stay on track and within budget. Review job estimates, scopes, and progress reports for accuracy and efficiency. Customer Escalations: Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution. Maintain positive relationships with customers and key stakeholders. Process Improvement: Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all locations. Communication and Coordination: Facilitate regular communication between field teams, office staff, and senior management. Participate in work-in-progress (WIP) meetings to monitor job status and address challenges. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze operational performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and recommending corrective actions as needed. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all reconstruction activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety and risk management. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in construction management, project management, business administration, or a related field preferred
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in residential or commercial construction or a very closely related field that involves a high volume of projects, direct customer interactions, and tight deadlines Prior experience with the Insurance Industry is a plus Proven success managing geographically dispersed teams 5+ years with operations management responsibility Prior experience with DASH, BuilderTrend, ProCore or equivalent is a plus Prior experience in the Restoration Industry is a big plus, but not required Expertise with hiring, training and developing team members and building team culture Experience with general contractor licensing at the state and county level and pulling city permits is a big plus Proven history staying in roles longer than 2 +/- years at a tim Skills & Qualifications: Ability to analyze data, interpret and explain scorecards and dashboards Lean and/or Six Sigma process improvement credentials preferred Strong leadership and team management abilities. Can you lead, motivate and inspire people? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and project management Experience handling customer escalations and maintaining client relationships Knowledge of construction and restoration industry standards and regulations Work Environment: Periodic travel required between eight locations in CO, NM, NV, CA, OR, WA Office and field-based work as needed Must be available for after-hours support in case of emergencies
