Commercial Drywall Project Manager Location:  Cheshire, CT Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience We’re currently partnering with a well-established commercial drywall contractor seeking a Project Manager with 3–5 years of experience in drywall and metal stud framing. This is a full-time opportunity offering long-term stability, strong benefits, and a great team environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage commercial drywall and framing projects from pre-construction through closeout

Coordinate with field superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Perform accurate estimates for change orders and assist in pricing project scopes

Utilize On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid to perform takeoffs and bidding tasks

Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget

Review and process RFIs, submittals, and job cost tracking

Communicate proactively with project stakeholders to ensure quality and satisfaction

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial drywall/metal stud framing

Strong estimating skills — must know how to perform estimates for change orders

Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
