We are seeking a skilled and reliable *Equipment Mechanic* with a strong work ethic and a self-starting attitude. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with diesel trucks, construction equipment, gooseneck trailers, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, solution-focused, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
*Responsibilities* * Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment including: * Telehandlers * Skid steers and teleskids * Trucks and trailers * Small engines and specialized equipment * Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems * Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs using our computerized software * Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation * Identify potential issues before they become costly repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Communicate clearly with management about repairs, timelines, and parts needed
*Requirements* * Minimum *2 years of experience* as a mechanic working with construction, agricultural, or industrial equipment * Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills * Proficiency with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems * Must supply your own tools * Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * High level of personal accountability and reliability * Valid driver’s license
*Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with welding or light fabrication * CDL or trailer towing experience * Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
