SUMMARY
Our Client, a growing company, is looking for top equipment sales representatives to join their team. This individual will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a problem-solving mentality. This position will be dealing with customers within the North DFW area and tasked with growing revenue and cultivating relationships with existing and new customers. Existing knowledge of equipment machinery is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make frequent opportunity calls and generate new customers.
- Ability to negotiate pricing in regard to selling new equipment, used and rental equipment
- Develop a keen awareness of the competition and competitive products, as well as business and industry trends.
- Maintain strong knowledge of new and used equipment values and be able to evaluate properly for quoting and trading purposes.
- Accountable for timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
- Construction Equipment knowledge highly preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- This is an Outside Sales position, so ability to travel the North DFW area.
