What Youll Do: - Own estimates from concept through subcontractor buyout. - Build competitive lump sum and negotiated bids for school, municipal, and specialty site projects. - Work closely with architects, owners, and PMs to ensure precise scopes and pricing. - Assemble proposal packages, instructions to bidders, clarifications, and bid tabs. - Lead subcontractor outreach and recruiting, evaluations, and pricing strategy. - Help us win smart, profitable work and avoid the junk. You Should Have: - 5+ years of experience estimating construction projects (ideally in the public or education sector) - Proficiency with takeoff software (Bluebeam), Microsoft Excel, and estimating platforms (RS Means) - Experience leading estimating efforts not just assisting. - Strong understanding of unit pricing, value engineering, and bid strategy. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
