Job Description

As a Concrete Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project bidding process. You will be responsible for evaluating project specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring that all bids are competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans and specifications to identify scope and requirements.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for concrete construction projects.
Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather relevant project data.
Develop and maintain a database of labor rates, material costs, and equipment pricing.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.
Present estimates and proposals to management and clients.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an estimator in concrete construction.
Strong knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and costs.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Procore).
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Salary: $70K/yr - $125K/yr
