*Responsibilities* * Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects. * Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms. * Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam to create detailed estimates and reports. * Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimating. * Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and budgets. * Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to maintain effective cost control measures. * Prepare bid proposals and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. * Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide informed estimates. * Perform introductory site visits searching for projects to bid.

*Skills* * Proficient in construction estimating techniques and methodologies. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with vendors and clients. * Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols. * Experience in project management principles related to construction projects. * Knowledge of cost control practices to ensure budget adherence. * Proficient in using estimating software such as Bluebeam for efficient workflow management. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
