Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive bids for heavy civil and DOT projects. Maintain a bid schedule in collaboration with owners or program managers. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and quantity takeoffs. Handle both hard bid and design/build conceptual estimating. Assess cost factors like labor, materials, equipment, and construction timelines. Interpret plans, drawings, and standards to generate estimates. Analyze project staging, workflows, and constructability to optimize schedules. Conduct site visits to gather information on materials, labor, and logistics. Create and manage project schedules. Build and maintain a network of suppliers and subcontractors. Complete assignments with precision and within deadlines. Exhibit strong math skills and adaptability to shifting timelines. Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. Understand contract administration processes. Qualifications 2+ years in estimation, with familiarity in tools like Heavy Bid, Heavy Job, AGTEK, Microsoft Project, P6 (Primavera), Bluebeam, Vista, and Procore. Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities with a professional demeanor.
