Summary

The Construction Estimator position requires robust analytical and budgeting skills and is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. The Construction Estimator should be able to assess the best prices for a project given the relevant variables and be able to collect and evaluate construction costs with a final goal of producing a proposal budget or a contract bid. They will provide knowledge of costs and benefits that support profitable business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, have a strong understanding of the construction process, excellent mathematical skills, excellent planning and management skills, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. Also, must have strong relationships with vendors and trade partners, connecting them to more accurate pricing, and the ability to prioritize and lead others. This candidate will partner with the Project Manager to ensure the project is a success from the proposal stage to completion.

The salary range for this position is $83,274-$119,471/year, please note this is a tiered position.
