Job Details Position: Construction Estimator - Multifamily and Commercial Construction Location: Denver, CO Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 per year Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Estimator specializing in Multifamily and Commercial Construction for Renovations, TI-Build Outs, and New Construction. The ideal candidate will estimate project costs and create budgets to guide our construction efforts, requiring a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and keen attention to detail. Responsibilities Gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare estimates. Identify labor, material, and time requirements by analyzing project documents. Compute costs and analyze requirements to develop accurate estimates. Resolve discrepancies through data analysis. Build itemized cost summaries and present estimates. Maintain and back up a cost database. Attend workshops and review publications to stay updated. Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers for project details. Oversee pre-construction duties like design reviews and scheduling. Develop and present project estimate reports to management. Review designs and evaluate changes to ensure budget adherence. Develop strategies to meet project goals, including scheduling and supply management. Qualifications Minimum 6 years of experience as a Construction Estimator. Extensive knowledge of Multifamily and Commercial construction processes. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent math, analytical, and software skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of safety standards and legal regulations. Physical Requirements Navigate construction sites, including stairs and outdoor/indoor walking. Valid drivers license and ability to travel to various sites.
