KC’s Improvement & Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated  Residential Renovation Estimator  to join our growing team. This is a full-time, career-focused position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in residential remodeling.

As you gain experience and demonstrate your dedication, you'll have the chance to take on more responsibilities and grow your career in the construction industry Compensation: $80,000 - $130,000 potential average earnings Responsibilities: Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs Collaborate with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole Manage all aspects of estimating remodeling projects, including design coordination, estimating, billing, and execution Create accurate construction cost estimates and timelines Present detailed estimates and work breakdowns for clients and internal teams Coordinate with office staff and field crews to allocate labor and resources Build and maintain a reliable network of subcontractors and negotiate pricing Use estimating software and project management tools to organize and track progress Complete job-related paperwork and maintain proper documentation for all projects Qualifications: Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required 3–5+ years of experience in residential remodeling or construction estimating Experience with cost estimating software preferred Familiarity with project management platforms (JobTread or similar is a plus.)
