Job Description Extensive expertise in construction materials, methods, practices, and contract management Proficient in Sage Estimating, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, etc.), and Adobe Acrobat Strong mathematical foundation, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry, applied to accurate project estimating Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy Skilled at interpreting bid documents and developing precise construction detail sketches Experienced in cost estimation using probability models, providing clear insights into overall expenses, specific components, and project timelines Effective communicator-able to convey ideas visually through sketches and diagrams, as well as verbally with diverse stakeholders Familiar with measurement techniques, economic principles, and core business fundamentals Critical thinker with strong problemsolving skills, capable of abstract reasoning and analytical decisionmaking Confident in making informed, independent decisions by leveraging data and practical judgment Selfmotivated and highly capable of working independently while maintaining accountability Driven to achieve longterm goals MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant 4+ year(s) experience in the estimating or project management field. Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications. Ground up project knowledge and experience preferred Proficient in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Sage, MS Project Ability to work in a team environment Interesting in mentorship opportunity Quantity takeoff and cost estimate experience Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management or Architectural Technology.
