Construction Estimator – Millwork & Fixtures Minneapolis, MN | $80k - $90k | Direct Hire Are you a detail-oriented construction professional with a passion for precision estimating and high-end millwork? Join a respected contractor with a national footprint and a strong project pipeline Work closely with business development and operations leadership Hybrid mix of office and travel-based work Make a direct impact on project wins and profitability Clear pathway for advancement within a stable and supportive organization Construction Estimator Responsibilities Analyze job specifications, architectural drawings, and RFQ documents to define scope and identify risk Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and assign estimated hours using internal time standards Prepare comprehensive cost analyses for labor, travel, and related expenses Attend pre-bid meetings and engage directly with clients as needed Ensure all estimates comply with internal procedures and profitability goals Deliver internal project briefings upon award to support seamless handoff to operations Construction Estimator Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Wood Technology, or a related field preferred 3+ years of estimating experience in retail or commercial construction Strong understanding of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) standards Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Experience with or ability to learn TRAX (estimating/scheduling software) and Spectrum (accounting software) Advanced blueprint reading. quantity takeoff skills, knowledge of millwork, cabinetry, and fixture installation techniques Ready to accelerate your career and make an immediate impact?
