Job Details
Responsibilities: Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers Develop budgets and proposals for competitive and negotiated projects Identify constructability issues and cost-saving alternatives during preconstruction Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients throughout the process Maintain organized estimate files and update historical cost data Qualifications: 2+ years of estimating experience in the commercial construction industry Strong understanding of construction documents and methods Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
