Job Details
Responsibilities:
* Review drawings and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates * Perform quantity takeoffs and solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers * Develop budgets and proposals for competitive and negotiated projects * Identify constructability issues and cost-saving alternatives during preconstruction * Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients throughout the process * Maintain organized estimate files and update historical cost data
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of estimating experience in the commercial construction industry * Strong understanding of construction documents and methods * Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required
