The Role: As our next Estimator , you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our preconstruction efforts—working closely with the executive team, project managers, and clients to deliver accurate, competitive bids that win work and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, restaurant, and retail projects Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes Assist with value engineering and constructability reviews Collaborate with project managers and clients during the bidding and handoff process

Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a construction estimator (commercial/retail/restaurant preferred) Strong knowledge of construction means and methods Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar) Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines

Bonus Points: Experience estimating projects in Santa Cruz or the broader Bay Area Familiarity with local subcontractor market
