Job Title: Estimator Location: St. Petersburg, Florida | Mobile, Alabama | Duluth, Georgia About the Company: We’re a commercial general contractor specializing in ground-up and interior projects across retail, medical, office, and industrial. We’re seeking an Estimator to support preconstruction efforts and help build competitive, accurate proposals.

Role Overview: The Estimator will analyze plans and specs, coordinate subcontractor pricing, and prepare detailed estimates to support bid efforts and project budgeting.

Key Responsibilities: Review drawings and specifications to develop quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Send out bid invitations and manage subcontractor pricing. Evaluate proposals for completeness and scope coverage. Assist in preparing and assembling final bid packages. Maintain historical cost data and pricing databases. Work with internal teams on value engineering and project hand-offs. Stay current on construction methods, pricing, and industry trends. Qualifications: 2+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor. Familiarity with ground-up and interior commercial construction. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating tools (Bluebeam preferred). Strong understanding of plans, specs, and construction documents. Excellent communication and organizational skills. High school diploma required; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Additional Info: Office-based role in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background screening.
