Legacy Service USA LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Exterior Roofing and Siding Estimator to accurately estimate the cost of roofing and siding projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, evaluating job sites, and preparing competitive bids. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of construction materials, labor costs, and industry trends and is dedicated to providing accurate and timely estimates to support our operations.

*Responsibilities*

*Project Evaluation: *

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand scope and requirements.

• Perform on-site inspections to gather measurements, assess existing conditions, and identify potential challenges.

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to clarify project details.

*Estimation and Cost Analysis: *

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing and siding materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.

• Research and analyze market rates for materials and labor.

• Create detailed proposals and bid packages, ensuring competitive pricing without compromising quality.

*Vendor and Supplier Coordination: *

• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services. • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms. • Stay updated on new materials and technologies that could impact project costs.

*Reporting and Documentation: *

• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts.

• Generate comprehensive reports outlining project budgets and cost breakdowns. • Update cost databases and estimation templates to reflect current market conditions.

*Collaboration and Communication: *

• Work closely with sales and project management teams to align estimates with client needs and project goals.

• Provide expertise and support during project planning and execution phases. • Present and explain estimates to clients and management as needed.

*Industry Knowledge and Best Practices: *

• Stay current on industry standards, building codes, and construction methods. • Monitor and analyze industry trends to ensure competitive and accurate estimations. • Identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality or performance.

*Experience*

*Education and Experience: *

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).

• Strong understanding of roofing and siding materials, systems, and installation processes.

*Skills: *

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

• Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Xactimate, Bluebeam, or similar). • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

• Experience with both residential and commercial exterior projects.

• Knowledge of energy-efficient or sustainable exterior systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
