Our Client is looking for a Construction Finance Manager/Controller to oversee all financial aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This includes managing budgets, tracking expenses, analyzing financial data, and reporting on project performance. They also play a key role in financial planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Construction Finance Manager/Controller Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecast costs, and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks.
- Implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals, including budgeting and forecasting for construction and capital projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost overruns, implementing cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, performance reports, and variance analysis for senior management, project stakeholders, and external parties.
- Ensure adequate cash flow to support project operations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and optimizing payment cycles.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, such as cost overruns, delays, and material price fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Review and manage contracts related to projects, ensuring accurate billing and payment terms are met.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, and other finance staff.
- Communicate financial information to project managers, executives, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to manage financial data and generate reports.
Construction Finance Manager/Controller Requirements:
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting, and construction specific financial practices.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, including accounting personnel.
- Understanding of the construction industry, project management methodologies, and relevant regulations.
- Professional experience in Mechanical Construction highly preferred.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems used in construction.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
