As a Foreman , you’ll be on the front lines — guiding field crews, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality work that protects communities and ecosystems. What You’ll Do Lead and coordinate field crews , ensuring efficient, high-quality daily operations. Execute project plans by overseeing materials, subcontractors, and heavy equipment onsite. Interpret drawings and specs to keep work aligned with project goals and client expectations. Conduct daily safety briefings , enforce site-specific safety protocols, and promote a strong safety culture. Track project performance, labor hours, material use, and production metrics. Act as a key liaison between field teams, superintendents, and clients to resolve issues in real time. Spot and report scope changes and initiate creative solutions when roadblocks arise. Maintain quality control documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
What You Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience as a journeyman or foreman in excavation, demolition, grading, or environmental remediation. Strong background in environmental construction and awareness of related regulations and safety practices. Proven leadership and crew management skills — you know how to motivate and get results. Strong understanding of plans, specs, and field documentation (e.g., change orders, safety logs). Experience coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, and materials. Certifications such as 40-Hour HAZWOPER , 30-Hour OSHA , or 10-Hour OSHA strongly preferred (or willing to obtain). Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the company professionally with clients and partners.
