Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional Handyman with skills in multiple trades to join our Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day maintenance tasks, ensuring our properties are kept in excellent condition. Basic knowledge of dry-wall repair, carpentry, painting, electrical systems, landscaping, and irrigation systems is needed to perform daily job tasks inside and outside.

Top candidates will be multi-skilled professionals with a strong customer service ethic and the will to complete all assignments in a timely, professional manner.

A company vehicle will be provided; the ability to work a flexible schedule may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform minor repairs, including patching drywall, painting, basic plumbing, and fixture replacements
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks across all properties
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Assemble furniture, install shelves, and perform other general labor as needed
• Perform basic landscaping tasks and assist with irrigation maintenance as needed
• Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Support skilled technicians or contractors when needed
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas Driver's License with good driving history
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Electricity, landscaping, or irrigation system knowledge is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, kneeling, or climbing ladders for extended periods of time in various environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
