About the Company
This is a reputable Construction Management firm who operate along in the state of Florida, they have a huge presence in Tampa and the surrounding areas. This is a growing firm with a growing reputation, they are specialists in healthcare projects. They have been in operation for close to 20 years and are going from strength to strength as an organization.
They are now seeking an experienced Superintendent with a background in healthcare commercial projects.
Responsibilities
Implementshort-term look ahead schedules from the project schedule
Perform quality control inspections
Communicate with other team members (Project Manager, Assistants, Safety) to ensure a smooth project execution
Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure contract compliance
Oversight of Assistant Superintendents, Laborers and overall responsibility for site work and progress
Inspect subcontractor work to ensure alignment with contract obligations and quality standards
Hold weekly safety and subcontractor meetings
Monitor work of all hired trades (Carpenters, Laborers)
Liaise with Project Manager on project risks including safety, supplier issues, site conditions, scheduling
Experience Required
At least 5 years’ experience working as a Superintendent for a General Contractor or Construction Management firm
Experience working on commercial projects
Experience of managing healthcare commercial projects between $25-100million
Quality Control
Excellent written and communication skills
