Immediately seeking skilled and reliable Installation Techs for a large company on northeast side of San Antonio. This is a direct hire position. The role involves on-site installation of custom-made metal and aluminum doors, windows, and related products. Pay is $16/hr.-$18/hr. based on experience. Shift is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Saturdays and after hours as needed. Service area is San Antonio, Hill Country, Austin, Boerne, Laredo, Corpus, Horseshoe Bay, and McAllen. Installation Technician duties:
- Safely and efficiently install iron/steel and aluminum doors and windows
- Follow installation procedures
- Perform measurements, adjustments, leveling, and finishing
- Apply protective wrap, touch-up paint, and install glass or hardware when needed
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and adapt solutions in the field
- Communicate clearly with Installation managers and clients when necessary
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Load/unload products and materials with care
- Follow all safety protocols and job site requirements
- Drive company vehicle to job sites for installs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in door, window, or general construction installation preferred
- Experience with metal and /or aluminum systems is a strong plus
- Ability to read construction drawings, CAD layouts, or blueprints is a strong plus
- Comfortable using hand tools, levels, drills, and power equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Physically able to lift and maneuver large products (up to 100 lbs. with assistance)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and punctuality
- Bilingual preferred
- Clean Driving Record
