About the Role

Rooftop Chimney Sweeps is seeking a motivated apprentice with construction experience — masonry, carpentry, general building, or chimney work — who is ready to take their skills to the next level by learning gas line installation and gas appliance installation.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with chimney construction, gas fireplace installation, and exterior/masonry repairs while learning how to run gas lines to code and safely connect gas appliances.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in installing gas fireplaces, inserts, and log sets.

  • Learn to run and connect gas lines to manufacturer specifications and local codes.

  • Support masonry and exterior chimney repairs.

  • Maintain tools, materials, and job site safety.

  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication.

  • Commit to ongoing training and skill development.


Requirements
  • Construction experience required (chimney/masonry experience is a plus).

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

  • Heavy lifting, working at heights and in confined spaces.

  • Strong attention to detail and safety.

  • Desire to learn and grow into a specialized trade.


Training & Certifications Provided
