ABOUT THE ROLEAmrize , a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Construction Laborer to support our construction group in Raynham, MA. This role involves daily travel throughout Raynham, MA working on various MassDOT highway projects.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHAssist with a wide range of physical tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, loading, and unloading materialsPerform general labor duties such as site clean-up, debris removal, and basic demolitionSupport skilled tradespeople including carpenters, masons, and equipment operators as neededOperate hand and power tools in a safe and efficient mannerLoad and distribute construction materials to appropriate locations on-siteFollow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environmentWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation:High School Diploma or EquivalentField of Study Preferred:N/ARequired Work Experience:N/ATravel Requirements:Daily Travel RequiredReliable transportation is required due to daily travel across Raynham and surrounding areasValid Driver's License requiredMust be willing to become a member of the New England Laborer's UnionStrong listening skills and the ability to carry out verbal or written directions accurately.Understanding and application of workplace safety rules and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to work well with others in a team setting, maintain a positive attitude, and communicate effectively.Reliable and Punctual Work Ethic: Consistent attendance, dependable performance, and a willingness to work flexible hours or overtime.Basic Knowledge of Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with hand and power tools; ability to safely operate and maintain them as needed.Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks.Additional Requirements:Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
