Construction Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team supporting Environmental Emergency Response, Fixed Facility Operations, and Site Remediation Projects throughout the Denver Metro area. This role is essential in maintaining safety and environmental standards through the decontamination of equipment and locations impacted by hazardous or toxic substances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Decontaminate sites and equipment to eliminate hazardous or toxic materials
  • Safely prepare hazardous waste for processing or disposal
  • Respond promptly to emergency spill situations and environmental cleanups
  • Perform hazardous waste remediation in accordance with safety protocols
  • Operate specialized equipment under supervision
  • Accurately complete Daily Job Reports detailing activities, materials, and equipment used

Required Skills & Experience

  • 24 years of general labor or outdoor work experience
  • Proficiency with construction equipment (e.g., skid steer, mini excavator)
  • Reliable transportation to the shop in Arvada
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in environmental services or hazardous material handling
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in remediation or construction settings

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Standard schedule: MondayFriday
  • Daily start at the Arvada shop, with transportation provided to job sites
  • Occasional short-term travel (out of town for several days at a time) may be required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
