Construction Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated construction laborer to join our team for a temporary project. The role involves working from 7 AM until the work is finished, seven days a week for five weeks. You will be performing general labor tasks such as demolition, loading and unloading, digging, and clean-up to support daily operations at a construction site. Your contributions will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction environment.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor tasks including demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and site clean-up. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site. Utilize hand and power tools effectively. Support overall project operations with a focus on general clean tasks.

Essential Skills

3+ years of experience in a commercial or large residential job setting. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. Ability to speak upon and adhere to safety precautions in a construction environment. OSHA 10 certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, scissor lift, scaffolding, loading, and lifting. Proficiency in using a tape measure, hammer, and saw. Good interpersonal skills and a team spirit. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals. Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions. Reliable transportation to and from work.

Work Environment

The work environment involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and occasionally in high or precarious places. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
