Secret Unspecified Position This position is located in Yuma, AZ (On-Site/Office). The duties include managing multiple priorities and providing technical recommendations to complex problems encountered during the administration of construction contracts. You will also manage contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely responses. Additionally, you will utilize knowledge of construction safety principles in the administration of assigned projects to mitigate safety incidents. You will assist in negotiation of contract modifications to ensure the most fair and reasonable cost is determined. Requirements and conditions of employment include: travel 76% of the time or greater, being a US citizen, determined suitable for federal employment, participating in the direct deposit pay program, and obtaining a secret security clearance. You will also be required to complete training and obtain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases. Qualifications require at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This includes managing multiple priorities, ensuring effective communication between various stakeholders, visiting construction sites, acting as the Contracting Officer's Representative, and performing technical submittal review. Work environment includes harsh conditions in Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa, with long work shifts, uncomfortable living conditions, and potential for fatigue. The position may require immediate contingency support and physical and immunizations deemed necessary for the environment.
