Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Required :
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Fisher County, TX (required);
• Experience with Construction and Preconstruction;
• Experience coordinating and managing construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site;
• Experience with permits, road use agreements, crossing agreements, SWPPP, haul routes, drawings, material, schedule, QA/QC, Submittals to engineering for review;
• Experience with approving contractor payment requests, verifying constructability, ensuring proper resource allocations, assessing field status, and resolving issues as needed;
• Experience with scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, and schedules and work in progress;
• Experience with working with 3rd party audits of contractor;
• Leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors experience;
• Experience with site safety orientations, safety assessments, and CIL’s (unifier);
• Experience maintaining QA/QC documents, and auditing construction quality;
• Experience monitoring environmental constraints before/during work activities (SWPPP);
• Experience managing additional resources such as environmental, ISC/expeditor, material manager, safety team, SME’s, and land agents.
Responsibilities :
• Be responsible for the project’s success from a field level and act as the quarterback of the project in the field for the Client.
• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on the job site, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed effectively.
• Perform inspections, maintain QA/QC documents, and audit construction quality, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
• Keep detailed records of construction activities, progress reports, and safety inspections.
• Manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work, and approve contractor payment requests.
• Manage scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules, and work in progress to ensure assignments are effectively implemented and desired results are obtained.
