Your Role: As a Construction Manager, you will oversee construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will act as the key liaison between the owner, contractors, subcontractors, and local stakeholders, focusing on compliance, coordination, and problem-solving in the field. Projects will involve transportation infrastructure and municipal utilities. Key Responsibilities: Communicate and coordinate with local stakeholders, subcontractors, and authorities during construction. Monitor and document contractor adherence to plans, specifications, and legal requirements; report deviations. Verify the use of approved materials and proper construction techniques. Prepare detailed daily field reports, including inspection summaries and quantities. Review drawings for compliance and correct material use. Resolve technical and contractual issues, escalating complex matters as needed. Qualifications: Engineering degree preferred but not required. Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or related fields. Knowledge of Ohio DOT standards, specifications, and methods; ability to interpret contracts, plans, and specifications. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
